repairinfo.app belongs to MMR Labs GmbH from Vöhringen, Germany, which also runs garantielabel.app and ai-label.app. It offers free tools, a guide and the Shopify app RepairInfoEU.
Statements on obligations, deadlines and product groups rest on primary sources; every page shows its last-updated date and its sources.
Who is behind it
The operator is MMR Labs GmbH, Carl-Benz-Straße 6, 89269 Vöhringen, Germany. It also runs garantielabel.app, on the EU's legal guarantee label and GARAN label, and ai-label.app, on labelling AI-generated images under Article 50 of the EU AI Act. The repairinfo.app website and the Shopify app RepairInfoEU are technically separate, with no shared server and no shared code at runtime.
Florian Blach looks after the guides, rankings and datasets; he also develops the Shopify app RepairInfoEU. Responsible for content under § 18(2) MStV (German Interstate Media Treaty) is the operator’s managing director (legal notice).
repairinfo.app is not an offer of the European Commission, the French administration or any other public authority.
How we read sources
- Primary sources. Our basis is the legal texts and official data themselves: EUR-Lex for Directive (EU) 2024/825, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1669, Regulation (EU) 2023/1670 and Directive (EU) 2024/1799, the German Federal Law Gazette (Bundesgesetzblatt) for the German transposition in Article 246a EGBGB, Légifrance for French law on the indice de réparabilité, and EPREL (European Commission) and data.gouv.fr for product data. The full list is under Sources.
- Secondary sources only for questions. Articles, associations, law firms and merchant forums show us which questions retailers have. Every answer is checked against the primary source.
- Open questions stay open. Where the law is unsettled, for example for own brands and imports or for the French index outside France, the page says so.
- Last-updated date. Every page shows when its content was last checked and lists its sources.
How we correct mistakes
Please report mistakes, new sources or outdated statements to info@liquiflow.app. We check every report against the source. When a statement changes, we update the page's date and record the change in the changelog, which is also available as a feed.
What we don't do
- We do not give legal advice and do not assess individual cases. Our tools and the app make suggestions; the retailer decides what information the store shows.
- We do not present the French indice de réparabilité as a repairability score under EU law. A repairability class under EU law exists, as of October 2026, for smartphones and slate tablets; tumble dryers placed on the market from 1 January 2027 follow.
- We do not publish pages on individual device models. Tool results stay in your browser.
- We do not reproduce official marks: not the energy label, not the French pictogram, not the EU emblem.
- We do not count visitors and load nothing from third-party servers (privacy).
Tools and app
The tools are free and need no sign-in. Only the Shopify app RepairInfoEU, which shows class, index and links on every product page, is paid (pricing).
