RepairInfoEU is funded only through its Shopify app with the Essential and Pro plans. Tools, guides, rankings and datasets are free, without sign-up, advertising or tracking.
Nobody pays for scores, ranks or mentions: no commissions, no paid placements, no money from manufacturers, suppliers or retailers.
How we make money
With the RepairInfoEU Shopify app. Stores pay a subscription (pricing, free 14-day trial) to show repair information on every product page. That also pays for this website, the tools and the data upkeep.
How we don’t make money
- No commissions. This website has no affiliate or advertising links. Clicking a model leads to our tools or to the data source, never to a shop.
- No paid placements. Rank and order in the rankings come only from the values in the source.
- No money from manufacturers or retailers for scores, ranks, mentions or texts.
- No test seals and no ratings of our own.
- No advertising, no tracking. We don’t count visitors or share data (privacy).
- No selling of data. Our datasets are freely available under data and API.
What this means for the rankings
The rankings show values as they appear in the source: the EU repairability class from EPREL, the European Commission’s database, and the French indices from the open datasets on data.gouv.fr. We add no rating of our own. Averages and shares are our own calculations and marked as such; every ranking states its method, the products compared and the date. Neither the Commission nor French authorities produced, reviewed or endorsed the rankings.
A supplier who considers a value wrong changes it in the source. With the next weekly update, the new value appears here too.
Who is behind it
The operator is MMR Labs GmbH from Vöhringen, Germany. Florian Blach looks after the guides, rankings and datasets (about, legal notice).

Do manufacturers pay for a good rank?
No. Rank and order come only from the values in EPREL and on data.gouv.fr. Nobody can buy a place.
Why are the tools free?
They show what the Shopify app does for the whole store. Only the app is paid.
