Repairability information by product group
Eleven groups, each with its own page on the rule, periods, an example block and data sources.
Since 27 September 2026, sellers to EU consumers must give repairability information before purchase (Directive (EU) 2024/825). Smartphones and slate tablets carry the repairability class A to E, and tumble dryers will with the label required from 1 January 2027; for all other goods, sellers show the producer’s information on spare parts, manuals and repair restrictions, where the producer makes it available.

Spare parts periods are minimum periods for manufacturers, importers and authorised representatives, not rights of your customers; the parts lists are on the spare parts periods page. The obligation check tells you what a single product needs. All groups as a dataset: produktgruppen.json.

Smartphones and tablets
The class A to E from EPREL belongs on the product page; spare parts details are optional.
ReadProduct groupLaptops
No EU class: spare parts, manuals and repair restrictions as the producer provides them, plus the French index in France.
ReadProduct groupWashing machines
No EU class, but ten years of spare parts under ecodesign rules: what of that belongs on the product page.
ReadProduct groupDishwashers
Seven or ten years depending on the part, and French data covers many models.
