Launch of repairinfo.app
The website goes live with a guide to the repairability information required by Directive (EU) 2024/825, including the difference from the right to repair, the repairability class, spare parts periods per product group and France, all based on primary sources (sources). It also offers six free tools: the obligation check (decision tree pflicht.v1), the EPREL lookup, the barcode check using the cleaned French repairability index dataset, the manufacturer request, the HTML snippet and the guarantee calculator. Plus rankings of the most repairable dishwashers, vacuum cleaners and laptops by the French index and pages per product group. Open data is listed under Data and API.
